Summer Lake Erie Fishing Charters
Lake Erie is one of the best lakes in the North East to fish for the many game species that are present. Summer Lake Erie fishing charters is a must experience when visiting the area.
I had the pleasure of fishing with Dean and his wife Julie. They wanted to experience what the fishing was like on Lake Erie and knew summer was a great time to do so.
The conditions on Lake Erie are incredible and the wind has been blowing. We have been experiencing waves up to 5 foot waves. Our vessels were able to still get out to where the fish are located.
Smallmouth bass and walleye can be caught in numbers around Shades Beach all the way to the W’s. We caught a number of walleye and smallmouth bass weighing up to 3 pounds.
The main baits to use were a drop shot or tube in waters of 35 to 40 foot of water. The fish are holding on humps or rocky bottoms.
We look forward to fishing with Dean and Julie again in the future!
